Daily Phonological &
Phonemic Awareness

Start your lessons with ‘Ears Ready’ – a great way to integrate key Phonological and Phonemic Awareness skills. Core lessons combine explicit teaching of Phonics, Vocabulary, Language Comprehension, and Fluency.

Word Analysis

‘Word Detectives’ provides fully decodable text. With modeled teaching and the gradual release method of "I do, We do, You do", your students will quickly learn how to analyze words for phonic structures and word structure (syllable types).

High Frequency &
Tricky Words

Several High-Frequency/Tricky Words are introduced in each Unit. New Tricky Words are incorporated into the Unit Stories and Word Detective sentences so students have immediate practice reading the word both in isolation and in context.

Decodable Reading

There’s more decodable reading support with 45 Unit Stories and Phonics Readers.  

Embedded Instruction

Quick Coding, Syllable Type and Syllable Division instruction throughout.

Vocabulary Expansion & Language Support

Tailored to ELL students and those requiring extra support.
